‘CHARIOT OF THE GODS’ PLAYED COMPLETELY LIVE-IN-THE-STUDIO
Our new album ‘CHARIOT OF THE GODS‘ comes out on FRIDAY 11 MARCH but at 8PM on THURSDAY 10 MARCH (or possibly even earlier if you’re sneaky) you can watch the band play the entire album completely live from the comfort of your home. Go right now to eMusic Live‘s website (linked right here) and purchase your golden ticket to witness the HOODOO GURUS as you’ve never seen us before – and never will again.
You won’t believe your eyes and ears. This will be the first time anyone will hear the bulk of the songs on our new album – and you will hear it as a live performance rather than a polished, finely-honed production (and, by the way, this record is ALL that). How’s that for working without a net?
This livestream concert will be a ONE NIGHT ONLY event (we won’t be putting it up on YouTube afterwards). So pay your measly ten bucks and prepare yourself to take the musical ride of your life. We’ll be screening this at the same starting time in six different timezones around the globe – you only have to decide which one suits you best.
The first streaming/screening will be on THURSDAY 10 MARCH when it is 8PM in Auckland, New Zealand.
Two hours later it will be shown again at 8PM in Eastern Australia (in Sydney & Melbourne, but that’s 7PM in Brisbane, of course).
The next showing will be at 8PM Perth-time, in Western Australia (Perth is my hometown, in case you don’t know), followed by three more, at
8PM – London, U.K.,
8PM – N.Y.C., U.S.A, and, finally,
8PM – Los Angeles in the good ol’ U.S. of A.
Again, when you book you can choose any one of these times to watch the show, regardless of where you happen to live. Check out the World Clock to figure out which screening time will suit you best: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
While that’s all happening I’ll be chatting live online, providing insights into the songs and answering whatever questions you may have about what you’re seeing and hearing. Yes, I’m gonna be perched in front of my laptop for around 75 minutes (the approximate length of our performance) at six different times over the course of 24 hours while these screenings happen. One other thing: we also finish off our performance with a few old favourites as a kind of “encore”. Why? Because we can. A little dollop of ice-cream to finish things off.
One of a kind, one night only, once in a lifetime – you’d be mad to miss this. Go to eMusic Live right now and get your ticket to join us next Thursday for this unique never-to-be repeated event – and, while it’s all happening, you and I can have a powwow in cyberspace.
I’ll be waiting.
